ASRB NET Notification 2016

The agriculture scientists recruitment board (ASRB) has released the notification of NET exam 2016-2017. NET (Stands for National eligibility test) is a qualifying examination for determining the eligibility for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in state agricultural universities and other agricultural universities. NET certificates will be issued by ASRB to the candidates who will qualify the test so that they will be able to apply against vacancies to be notified or advertised by the state agricultural universities/ agricultural universities. Eligibility criterion for ASRB NET 2016

Eligibility criterion for ASR:

• Candidates should have completed Master’s degree from well recognised university on or before 21^st February 2017.
• Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply on or before 21^st February 2017.
• Candidates who have completed their master degree from foreign university can also apply but their degree must be recognised by Indian Government.
• Age as on 1^st August 2016- minimum: 21 years and maximum: 32 years.

Eligibility Criterion 

• Candidates should have completed Master’s degree from well recognised university on or before 21^st February 2017.
• Candidates who have completed their master degree from foreign university can also apply but their degree must be recognised by Indian Government.
• The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 1^st August 2016. There is no upper age limit for the National Eligible Test.

Exam Patterns

ASR 2016 Examination have been divided into 3 parts: computer based test, written test, viva-voca i.e. preliminary, main, and viva-voca.

Selection Method

 Candidates who will be able to qualify the test will have to go through the interview and selection will be based on their performance in interview.

Registration Fee

Admit Card:

Candidates can download their admit card from official website asrb.org.in. Candidates must carry their admit card on the day of examination otherwise they will not be allowed to enter into the examination hall.

How to Apply

• Interested candidates can fill the application forms which are available on the official website asrb.org.in. Candidates will have to log on to this official website.
• For filling the application form, click on the right tab.
• Fill the form and provide all important information in proper way.
• Candidates have to provide their passport size photo, signature and all enclosures as prescribed by uploading them.
• Pay the fee
• Submit the form before the last date of submission.
