IIT was established in 1959. IIT Madras conduct HSEE entrance exam every year. Indian Institute of Technology, Madras offers various graduation and post graduation courses such as engineering, management, HSEE courses, Masters of Arts programme. HSEE entrance exam is conducted for taking admission in integrated Master of Arts (M.A) in Development Studies and integrated M.A in English Studies programmes for each academic year.
